Buying and gas
I have SOL in my budget but can't buy a SOL-paired token in Meteor. Why?
Meteor is a NEAR wallet. Every NEAR transaction needs a little NEAR for gas (the network fee), even when the pair is SOL. About 0.1 NEAR is plenty. If it still fails, note the exact error message and ask.
I'm new to NEAR. How would I buy FLTC?
Two ways. With a NEAR wallet (for example Meteor) holding some NEAR, you trade on JustHoot or Rhea through the FLTC / wNEAR pool. Or, from a wallet on another chain (Phantom, MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet), you can use JustHoot's Fast Intents. Step by step. Either way, check the contract address and the "Minimum received" line first, and start small.
What is "Minimum received"?
The least you'll get if the price moves while the trade goes through. If it's much lower than the main estimate, don't approve.
Fees and rewards
Did creator fees or holder rewards change after the October upgrade?
The rate and split didn't. It's still 0.1%, with 34% to the creator, 33% burned and 33% to holders (get_config). What changed is where the holders' share sits: since 8 October it's held in the token contract as wNEAR and paid in batches, and the old holders account is retired. What changed.
Why does the holders account show zero?
It was retired on 8 October 2026. The holders' share now waits in the token contract. See the October report for the amount waiting.
Can John change the fee?
No. Only the JustHoot DAO can, by vote, through launchpad.justhoot.near.
Fake and official tokens
Is there FLTC on Solana or Ethereum?
No official one. FLTC is not on Omni Bridge, so any "FLTC" on another chain isn't this token. The only real contract is fltc-af549c.launchpad.justhoot.near.
How do I spot a fake?
Compare the full contract address, not the name or logo. The third letter is a lowercase L. Paste an address to check it. And never fund a wallet someone else set up for you.
Checking things yourself
How do I check a transaction?
Open the transaction link on NearBlocks (or search your wallet address there). Check the token contract is fltc-af549c.launchpad.justhoot.near, the amounts, and that it says it succeeded. How to verify.
